According to CATSA guidelines, the battery must be less than 160Wh. Safety cover must be securely fitted over the heating element or placed in a protective bag on its own. Up to 2 spare batteries of a maximum of 160Wh are permitted in carry-on. Spare batteries not permitted in checked baggage.
