According to CATSA guidelines, thermos/insulated beverage container (empty): You may bring an empty thermos bottle or other insulated beverage container in your carry-on baggage. Electric Thermos: You may also bring an electric thermos in your carry-on baggage, provided it is empty and complies with all airline regulations regarding electronic devices. Batteries with a capacity of 100Wh / 12V or less are permitted in your carry-on. Please make sure your electric thermos shows no signs of tampering or alteration.
